Fri. & Sat. April 25 & 26, 2008:

On Friday & Saturday evenings, April 25th & 26th, we invite you to our next "Taste of France" gourmet dinner which will feature the cuisine of Normandy. The price for this delightful three course dinner which includes an aperitif is $40. Our menu is as follows:

Aperitif - Cardinale (Kir Rouge)

Appetizer - Salmon Mousse aux artichauts

Entree - Roasted Pork loin with Shittake mushrooms and Dijonnaise sauce

Dessert - Fraises au cassis in a chocolate cup

for a wonderful Mother's Day Treat

Experience an Elegant Mother's Day Buffet

featuring fine French cuisine from 11am to 2:30pm. Adults $32, children (ages 5-12) $15, and children under 5 are free. Or,

Enjoy a four course "prix fixe" gourmet dinner, served from 4pm - 7pm, with the menu shown below. Adults $35,  children's menu available (ages 5-12) $15, and children under 5 are free.

11am to 2:30pm Buffet

Omelette and Crepe Station (savory or sweet)

Appetizers: Shrimp cocktail, poached salmon, moules marinieres, smoked salmon, “pate maison”, cheese tray, etc.

Salads: Ceasar, pasta, mixed green, tomato, cucumber, etc.

Entrees: Roasted Beef tenderloin, lamb rosemary, chicken marsala, shepherds’ pie, pork loin with “dijon” demi-glaze, seafood delight au gratin, “vegetable ratatouille”, potatoes en persillade, etc.

Breads: French bread, rolls, croissants, bagels, Danish rolls, etc.

Desserts: Chocolate mousse, gateaux (Cheesecake and chocolate), fruit tart, coupe de fruits, a flowing warm chocolate fountain with strawberries, etc.

4pm to 7pm Gourmet Dinner Menu

Appetizers Choices include:  goat cheese crepe, smoked salmon with capers & field greens, pate maison, crevettes au boursin, escargots in garlic butter. 

Choice between Cream of Asparagus soup or house salad.  

Entrée choices include: Filet mignon with morel cream brandy sauce, Seared sea bass with crabmeat sherry beurre blanc sauce, Roasted Duck with a black fig and red port demi-glaze, Roasted rack of lamb with garlic rosemary demi-glaze and flageolet beans, Carmelized rainbow trout with beurre noisette, Seared scallops with a brie cheese walnut sauce garnished with Belgian endive marmalade, Sautéed chicken breast with mushrooms and marsala sauce.

For dessert, try “tarte tatin”, chocolate mousse, crème brulee, or tarte aux fruits.

California Dreaming Wine and French Dinner Tasting

aperitif     Oberon, Sauvignon Blanc

first course   Joseph Carr, Chardonnay
  sauteed shrimp with shallot-tarragon sauce on wilted spinach

second course   Crosspoint, Pinot Noir
  field greens with prosciutto and sundried cherries in a cassis vinaigrette

third course    Spellbound, Petite Sirah
  roasted pork tenderloin with spiced rhubarb chutney and brown basmati rice

fourth course    Folie a Deux, Cabernet Sauvignon
   chocolate lava cake with blackberry coulis
